The Story of an Impostor
Act I : April 1994 : For $250 I unwittingly did Wiltshire 's computer programming project, unaware that he was a doctoral student at Teachers College, affiliated to Columbia University. I received the work, with no header indicating its origin, through a third party : my girlfriend at the time, his sister-in-law.
Act II : March 2003: Out of the past, I was reassigned to MEPS as a math teacher, to Wiltshire's dismay. To forget his unsavory past the teacher conjured up, the unscrupulous, ungrateful principal illegally got rid of him in June. The teacher retaliated by whistleblowing the academic fraud to the school's staff.
Act III : 9/2003 to 8/2004 : The teacher spent one year in the rubber room as an "honorary guest". " Guest" because he was merly waiting for Regional 7 administrators to reassign him to another school :
"Just wait until we sort this out", he was told. They did ... one year later.
Act IV : 9/2004 : With no charges ever filed, the teacher was sent back to MEPS where salivating Wiltshire was awaiting him, so was a set-up.Why would you accept this teacher's reassignment today when you objected to it yesterday ? What happened in the meantime, aside from the teacher exposing your cheat ?
Act V : December 2004 : As predicted, given the opportunity to retaliate against the whistleblower, Wiltshire sent him back to the rubber room on December 7 for "conduct unbecoming your function", with the blessings of Gloria Buckery, the superintendent, shown the door in August 2006.
Act VI : December 2006 : The Special Commissioner of Investigation sent an inaccurate report on www.teacherabuse.com and www.mathspell.com to Chancellor Klein, relegating the initial bogus accusations to the back burner since then. The report partly reads : The investigation began in April 2006 when Michael Wiltshire, principal of Middle College High School, telephoned the office of the Special Commissioner of Investigation (« SCI ») and reported that after entering ‘Middle College High School » into Yahoo Internet search engine, he discovered two websites apparently created by Fofana ...more
Act VII : May 2007 : The teacher learned, at last, why he was sent to the rubber room, as spelled out by one specification out of the eight that comprise the formal charges he received; half is devoted to the websites issue. The rest is not even worth mentioning : the DOE's legal department uses them in virtually all cases for good measure.
